Stony Ridge Ranch in the Texas Hill Country is blessed with wonderful birding Spring, Summer and Fall.

Watch the most colorful bird in North America, the Painted Bunting, Vermillion Flycatcher, and observe Peregrine Falcons, Ladder Backed Woodpeckers, the Red Shouldered Hawk and Blue-Winged Warbler.

  • Peak time to see a variety of birds is early May into June and September and October.
  • Best viewing of hummingvirds is July and August.
